Marble Fishing is donating three pairs of sunglasses to this year's auction. This pair is the BEND: a large full-wrap frame in bio-based material, with brow venting that keeps lenses clear on the hike in and through humid afternoons. The sunglasses feature polarized ZEISS lenses from their Sustainable Polyamide line and comes in four lens colors and two frame colors, each tuned to different light/water conditions. The winner picks the combination.
About Marble Fishing:
Marble is reimagining fly fishing for a new generation of anglers. They build sustainable polarized sunglasses engineered for the sport with traceable ZEISS optics, bio-based and recycled frames, and a lighter impact on the water we all depend on.
Eyewear is the most personal piece of gear an angler owns. It's how we read water, spot fish, and stay present as conditions change. Marble sees that as a catalyst: a product that pulls people toward the river, toward community, and toward something bigger than the fish.
Fly line is the first industry problem they're working on. It's fused plastics, nylons, and coatings leave a composite waste that traditional recycling facilities can't handle. Marble is building a take-back network with North American fly shops to divert that line and show what circularity can look like in the outdoor industry. No fly line should end up in the water it was made to explore.
