This is a 6’6” 1wt 3pc built on a James Green “salvelinus” series blank that Marty Romeo developed with James many years ago. It’s a black e glass blank with white spigots, and it’s based on James's Native Trout Series taper which was primarily a 2-3 wt series. Basically he scaled it down and the result is a fairly snappy little 1wt rod that will also handle WF2 lines in close. Marty built this one with a cork seat, plus black anodized aluminum cap and ring hardware. It features ultra lite wire snake guides. It is the first 1 weight we have featured in the Reeling in Serenity auction and it's a beauty. I wasn't familiar with James Green's blanks but doing a Google search I learned that he is a big deal. Glad to have this cool rod in the auction. The rod will come with a bag and tube.
