Glasswater Angling BizJig (tm) lead free bismuth alloy jig heads are the choice of anglers who are out to leave a smaller environmental footprint as they pursue their favorite pastime.  Their micro ball jig heads and small shad darts are a great option for trout anglers, pan fishers and slab slayers.  Dressed with marabou, hair or hackle, the jig heads are the foundation for a fly that fish find hard to resist. Under an indicator these bugs give a horizontal swim that perfectly matches fry from forage such as sculpins, darters, minnows or tiny trout.  They are deadly on the downstream swing and excel in a head down hop along the bottom imitating a feeding fingerling.  All are small enough (1/64th-1/100th oz.) for a fly rod from a 5 weight down to a 3 weight.  Immensely popular in fisheries like the Ozarks or the Green River in Utah a set of micro jigs is an essential part of any fly anglers kit.  Note: Bismuth does not oxidize so the heads will stay silver (unlike toxic lead).  To paint them one can use epoxy, vinyl or nail polish.  If powder coat is used, heat the head carefully, apply the powder paint, then cure in a 250f oven for 15-20 minutes. This lot is seventeen different sets of 18 jig heads (306 heads total) in hook sizes from #12-#6 with either Aberdeen or sickle hooks. glasswaterangling.com Glasswater Angling Lead Free Fishing LLC
